BLA Partners with the Black River Hydro Limited Partnership

The Black River Hydro Limited Partnership (BRHLP), operators of the Kleber, Tower and Alverno dams, hosted a meeting on February 2, 2017 at the Forest Township Hall in order to present their operating history for the past 20 years and answer any questions that the public had.  Their report will be available on the Black Lake Association website within three weeks (blacklakeassociation.com).

The BRHLP has agreed to install lake level gauges on the Rainy River Bridge and the Harbor Light Bridge.  This will give the public an easy access to the lake level readings.  They will also be posting their readings on the Black Lake Association website for ease in accessibility. These will be posted every two to three weeks.

The BRHLP will also be posting any new and important updates, dam information and work plans on the Black Lake Association website.  Please check there for new reports.

The meeting was attended by about 50 people.
